“I have a strong faith in the ability, instincts and strength of a birthing person. It is my goal to facilitate those qualities before, during, and after childbirth. I’m experienced with unmedicated deliveries, VBACs, out-of-hospital births, deliveries with the use of an epidural, and cesarean births. I like to use mindfulness practices, deep listening, evidence based information and curiosity to help prepare for the journey through pregnancy and into the birth space. During labor I use traditional hands-on comfort measures as well as positional suggestions and pushing techniques to support with birthing. I celebrate and honor all people preparing for birth and their families, no matter what shape or size they come in.”

Kylie Foreman- Birth & Postpartum doula, Tender Loving Care Doula postpartum doula certified 2017, Tender Loving Care doula certified 2017

A little bit about myself. Im a mother of three and being a Doula has been my hearts calling soon realized after giving birth to my first in 2014. Since officially becoming certified in 2017, I have been supporting mothers giving birth from their homes, to hospitals and everything in between. I firmly believe if a mother/family feels supported and is set up for a trusting & and loving birth experience, that a mother will be better equipped emotionally, physically and mentally in the days and months following the arrival. In my practice I use a variety of techniques to help reduce your stress, aide in relaxation & help walk you through the process of surrendering to your body's own innate power. To do this we can use meditation support, physical massage, hands on pressure point activation, aromatherapy, calming mantras, belly sifting, and many more supportive techniques. Aside from your actual birth, I regard the postpartum period as extremely sacred and follow an Ayurvedic philosophy after care experience, that allows for mother and baby to receive the best support as you integrate into your new life. This may look like herbal recommendations to replish your body post birth, breastfeeding or bottle feeding support, bringing a nourishing meal to your home after baby is born, teaching you how to give your baby a gentle massage, and or giving parents time to rest, nap or shower by caring for baby in a holistic way.
