Birth & Postpartum Service
Two in-home prenatal visits, Fully accompanied birth from the onset of labor until baby has either breastfed once or an hour or two postpartum, Two postpartum in-home visits to check on family, feeding, and recovery. Photography of birth is included, when available. A trained doula may be accompanied by a more experienced doula in order to provide assistance and additional education, as needed.
Full Package - Trained Doula 400-800* (sliding scale)
*occasionally probono work is available for training purposes, fee is sometimes reimbursed by insurance. FSA and HSA are accepted.

*We are working very hard to get services uniformly covered by health insurance. Right now, many insurances reimburse for services paid. We will do all that we can to help you get reimbursed. If our services receive funding (either privately or publicly) before the time of your birth, your fee will be either waived or reimbursed through North Star Doula Service.
