Meet Rebeckah Orton. Rebeckah is the owner and director of North Star Doula Service. She completed her training at the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations at Bastyr University and also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology. She is an experienced doula and currently sits on the board of the Oregon Doula Association. She has served on the board of directors for the Pacific Association of Labor Support (PALS) and has created content for Doulas of North America (DONA). Rebeckah now offers services to expectant families residing in Clatsop County, Oregon. She is an Oregon State Certified Traditional Health Worker (THW) Doula.
Rebeckah is a mother of two and speaks fluent Spanish. She is the owner of North Star Doula Service.
Meet Faith Barrington. After struggling with fertility issues, Faith became pregnant with her daughter in early 2015. Unfortunately, she experienced an unnecessarily traumatic delivery via cesarean section. Once she was able to heal from her own birth experience she decided to become a birth doula in hopes of helping other women to have a beautiful and fulfilling births. She is certified through DONA and is also an Oregon State Certified Traditional Health Worker (THW) Doula. Along with pregnancy and childbirth, Faith has a special interest in fertility/infertility, breastfeeding, and the "fourth trimester." She serves families in the Clatsop County area.
